Josepha Guillaume
Editor & Chief
Currently taken over by Ralph Scheffer
For over 20 years, I’ve written for equestrian magazines around the world — but I never found one that truly voiced the equine perspective, fully and honestly.
Now, finally, there is. This is the magazine horses would want you to read.
Rooted in species-appropriate husbandry, hoof care, and force-free, biomechanically correct training — across every discipline — Yellow Horse Revolution Magazine gives a voice to every horse, and a new vision to equestrians: to enhance performance as a team, while always keeping the Horse First.

Ralph Scheffer
Acting Editor & Chief
Ralph Scheffer has been the IT and digital design force behind every equine project since 2004.
He is currently stepping in for Josepha as Editor-in-Chief of the Yellow Horse Revolution Magazine.
Ralph is responsible for the magazine’s layout and visual presentation.
A committed animal advocate and experienced “Track Hubby,” Ralph brings passion as well as skill to every project.
In addition to his work as an IT specialist at a hospital, he has spent the past two decades designing publications, logos, and websites.
Today, his focus is fully on the #YHR Magazine, a message he not only supports wholeheartedly but also helps to shape from the ground up.

Mandy Wells
Editor & Guest writer
Equus Universalis Instructor & Equine Assisted Coach Mandy liberally shares her knowledge in Equine and human welfare as a guest writer.
Apart from that Mandy helps with editing and translating articles from guest writers around the world.
You can follow Mandy's work on Facebook.

Lorena Marcheggiani
House Photographer
All photos are by Lorena of LM Equine Photography, unless stated otherwise.
More than a dedicated horse and pet photographer, Lorena is a lifelong equestrian. She rescued her beloved mare Kwint by going against the grain — offering her a species-appropriate lifestyle and in-hand classical dressage as mindful, healing movement.
We’ d love it if you showed Lorena some appreciation by following her on Instagram:

Margit Sas-Sundquest
Bit & Bridlefitter specialist
In addition to her quarterly column “Blonde Babe Bridle Fitter”, Margit writes in-depth articles on the importance and practical application of bit and bridle fitting, always from the perspective of equine welfare — without compromising the performance or comfort of the rider.
When she’s not writing or fitting bridles, you’ll find Margit in her tack shop in the Netherlands, or out rescuing stray animals with the same dedication she brings to her work with horses.

Tara Elizabeth
Columnist & Guest writer
While Tara is setting up the first Species Appropriate Horse Habitat in South Korea, she finds the time to write for our magazine.
Rescuing OTTB Nike, amongst many other horses (and pets), she vastly became aquented with the Species appropriate approach. Willing to share all of that with us!
Do give Tara a follow.
